And tonight, we're going to be led in worship by a special guest, Matt Boswell. I'm thankful that he's here and taking time out of his busy schedule to be with us and lead us in worship.

So we're going to do things a little bit out of order tonight. We're going to sing right now. After Matt's done, he's going to pray. I'm going to dismiss you guys. Then that's when we'll do our countdown for our bathroom break, things like that. And then we'll come back in for the sermon, okay?

So while Matt's getting ready, if you could turn to your neighbor, tell them the highlight of the last seven days. Best thing that's happened to you in the last seven days. Go. Thanks, Matt.

That's great. So whenever you're ready, you're like, who's this old guy? What's this? Oh, my God. Good evening, everybody.

Hey, thanks for hosting me. You know, you didn't ask that I would come here, but here I am. And I'm so thankful to be here with you tonight. Would you stand with me? I've heard you love to sing.

Is that true? Okay. Okay. All right. We'll see. Really grateful to be with you. Our students are gathering right now, too.

And it's such a, you know, what a privilege it is to be gathered here on a Wednesday night to center our thoughts and our hearts on Jesus Christ and on His great glory.

I'd like to read a few verses from Psalm 103. And then we'll lift our voices together in song. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me.

Bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits. And here the psalmist starts just listing out benefits. And as you hear these things, we're about to sing.

And so be thinking about these great things that God has given us in Christ. Who forgives all your iniquity. Who heals all your diseases.

Who redeems your life from the pit. Who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy. Who satisfies you with good. Take just a minute.

Bow your head and let's just think about those texts. I'm going to pray and we'll sing. Father, thank you that in Christ our sins have been forgiven. That our hard-heartedness has been healed.

That redemption through the finished work of Christ is full and free. For the great gift you have crowned us with. The love of God.

Tasting of the mercy of God. And let us be a people whose hearts are satisfied in you. And in you alone. We pray these things in Jesus' name.

Amen. Can we sing? Do you know the words of the doxology? Praise God from whom all blessings flow? We'll sing that at the very end.

Okay. We'll sing that at the very end. Yeah, yeah. We'll start with this. Praise the Lord. His mercy is more.

Stronger than darkness. New every morn. Our sins, they are many. His mercy is more. What love could remember.

What love could remember. No wrongs we have done. Omniscient, all-knowing. He counts not their sum.

Thrown into a sea without bottom or shore. Our sins, they are many. His mercy is more.

Praise the Lord. His mercy is more. Stronger, stronger than darkness.

New every morn. Our sins, they are many. His mercy is more. What patience. What patience would wait as we constantly run.

What father so tender is calling us home. He welcomes the weakest, the vilest, the poor.

Our sins, they are many. His mercy is more. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. His mercy is more.

Stronger than darkness. New every morn. Our sins, they are many.

His mercy is more. Riches of kindness. What riches of kindness He lavished on us.

His blood was the payment. His life was the cost. We stood beneath the debt. We stood beneath the debt. We could never afford.

Our sins, they are many. His mercy is more. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. His mercy is more.

Stronger than darkness. Stronger than darkness. New every morn. Our sins, they are many.

His mercy is more. Come behold the wondrous mystery. Come behold the wondrous mystery. Come behold the wondrous mystery.

In the dawning of the King. And He, the theme of heaven's praises, robed in frail humanity.

In our longing. In our longing. In our longing. In our darkness. Now the light of life has come. Look to Christ who condescended.

Took on flesh to ransom us. Come behold the wondrous mystery.

He, the perfect Son of man. In His living. In His suffering. Never trace nor stain of sin.

See the true and better Adam. Come to save the hell-bound man.

Christ the great and sure fulfillment of the law. In Him we stand. That line true and better Adam is a strange line, isn't it?

What in the world does that mean? That comes from Romans chapter 5. Where the apostle Paul is contrasting the first Adam. The one we know from the Garden of Eden. And the second Adam. Who he says is Jesus.

And so what we're singing there. When we say see the true and better Adam. Is the first Adam stood in a garden and failed God's test. Yes? But the second Adam, Jesus.

Was sinless in all of His ways. Right? So that's what we're singing when we say the true and better Adam. And now we go on to sing of the finished work of Christ. Christ the Lord upon the tree.

Come behold the wondrous mystery. Christ the Lord upon the tree. In the stead of ruined sinners Hangs the Lamb of victory.

See the price of our redemption. See the Father's plan unfold. Bringing many songs to glory.

Grace unmeasured. Love untold. Slain by death. Come behold. Come behold the wondrous mystery.

Slain by death the God of life. But no grave could e'er restrain Him. Praise the Lord He is alive.

What a foretaste of deliverance. How unwavering our hope. Christ in power resurrected as we will be.

Amen. You sound beautiful. Thanks for singing. Let's do one more together if we can. Do you guys know Christ our hope in life? Life and death. It's like I came from my home church and here I am. I am. I am. undecided with my heart.

You know that you're gonna come and feel like when you're coming. Let's do this and see you like to tell me the Lord. There it is. There it is. There it is. There it is. There it is. There it is. There it is. There it is.

There it is. There it is. There it is. There it is. There it is. There it is. There it is. There it is. There it is. There it is. There it is.

There it is. There it is. There it is. There it is. There it is. There it is. There it is. I'm going to ask if we can keep going. No, just one more. There we go.

Do you know this chorus? Oh, sing hallelujah. I hope, right? You know that part? Let's start there. Oh, sing hallelujah. Our hope springs eternal.

Oh, sing hallelujah. Now and ever we confess. Christ our hope in life and death.

What is our hope? What is our hope in life and death? Christ alone, Christ alone.

What is our only confidence? That our souls to Him belong. Who holds our days within His hand?

What comes apart from His command? And what will keep us to the end? The love of Christ in which we stand.

Oh, sing hallelujah. Our hope springs eternal. Oh, sing hallelujah.

Now and ever we confess. Christ our hope in life and death. This verse is about trusting Christ in the midst of sorrow and trial.

What truth? What truth can calm the troubled soul? God is good. God is good. God is good.

Where is His grace and goodness known? In our great Redeemer's blood. Who holds our faith when fears arise?

Who stands above the stormy trial? Who sings the waves that bring us nigh unto the shore, the rock of Christ.

Oh, sing hallelujah. Our hope springs eternal. Oh, sing hallelujah.

Now and ever we confess. Christ our hope and life and death. Unto the grave. Unto the grave.

What will we sing? Christ He lives. Oh, Christ He lives. And what reward will heaven bring?

Everlasting life with Him. There we will rise to meet the Lord. Then sin and death will be destroyed.

And we will feast in endless joy. When Christ is ours forevermore. Oh, sing hallelujah.

Our hope springs eternal. Oh, sing hallelujah. Now and ever we confess.

Christ our hope and life and death. Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

Praise Him, all creatures here below. Praise Him above ye heavenly hosts.

Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. We sing amen. Amen. Amen.

Let's pray together. Father in heaven, we are so grateful to be gathered this evening in the name of Jesus to sing praise to the Father and the Son and the Spirit.

You are the God worthy of the worship of every tribe and tongue and nation. The worthy of the worship of every heart in this room. Amen. And so we want to give to you the glory and praise that you alone are due.

So we thank you for these truths we rehearsed in song. And now as we hear from your word, let it do its good work in us and among us. We pray in Jesus' name.

Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen.

Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen.
